Can I cancel a payment that I've already sent to someone?
You may only cancel a payment if the Status of the payment is Unclaimed and the recipient has not yet signed up for PayPal and collected the money. Show me Show me (If your payment is Completed and you want to request a refund, please contact the recipient of the payment.)
The following 'Unclaimed' payments may be cancelled:
You sent your payment to an email address the recipient has not yet added to his account. Once the recipient adds the email address to his PayPal account, the payment will be automatically credited to his balance
The recipient has not yet confirmed his email address. For security reasons, PayPal can only credit payments sent to a confirmed email address
If you cancel an eCheck payment, the withdrawal from your bank account cannot be cancelled. Instead, the eCheck amount will be credited to your PayPal account balance.
Here's How:
1. Click on the My Account tab
2. Click on the History subtab
3. Click on the Cancel button in the Action column of the transaction in question
4. Click Cancel Payment
5. You have successfully cancelled this payment
Refunds
Why is my refund pending?
When your refund was sent, there were insufficient funds in your seller's PayPal account to cover the payment, and the refund was funded via an electronic funds transfer from his bank account. This refund will remain 'Pending' until the bank account transfer has been completed.
Is there any cost to use the PayPal refund feature?
No. There is no charge to send a refund using the refund link.
What if I've forgotten my password?
Before you can reset your password, you will need to confirm ownership of your account by answering questions that only you as the account owner would know. Show me Show me After you have answered the questions to verify your identity, you will be asked to choose a new password. Remember to choose a meaningful password or keep your password in a safe place in case you forget it again.
Here's How:
1. Go to the PayPal homepage
2. Click on the Forget your password? link
3. Enter your email address
4. Click Submit
5. Check your email inbox
6. Click on the link in the PayPal email
7. If nothing happens when you click the link, copy and paste the URL into your browser window
8. Confirm your account ownership by completing one of the sections of the Verify Your Identity page
9. Click Submit
10. Enter your new password and new security questions and answers
11. Click Submit
12. Your password has been successfully changed
How do I know my package has been shipped?
Log in to your PayPal account and go to the "History" subtab of the "My Account" tab. Find the transaction in question and click on the "Track Package" link in the Action column. The Transaction Details page will contain a link for you to track the package online with UPS.
